Motorcycle Insurance

Motorcycle insurance is no different to any other insurance policy; it protects you against the risk of financial loss. Like car insurance, motorcycle insurance can be brought in two ways, comprehensive or third-party cover. As you could imagine, third-party motorbike insurance is a little cheaper however, it won’t get you a new bike should be have an accident. Seriously consider purchasing comprehensive cover.

The damage sustained to a bike at low speeds is much more than what a car would incur at the same speed. As with most insurance policies, risk is the primary reasons that insurance premiums are high. If you can reduce risk, it’s likely your insurance company may reward you with a discount. Keep you bike stored in a garage or under cover off the road.
